What are Worry Rings?

A Worry Ring is simply a Ring that’s made up of 2 Rings, and one of those Rings Moves, so you can Spin it when you’re Troubled or Stressed!

The Inner Ring is Not Soldered so it Moves Freely on top of the other Ring.

The Outer Ring has Edges or Walls that Holds the Inner Ring in place. One flick of your Thumb Rotates the Inner Ring around the Track or Groove.

Below is a Detailed Image of a Worry Ring (mine) that shows the Two Separate Sections, the Inner Ring and the Outer Ring, and then the Finished Product, the Worry Ring (that I actually wear on my Index Finger).

What Is A Worry Ring?

A Worry Ring by any other Name

Worry Rings are often called many different things by many different people: Motion Rings, Spinner Rings, Swivel Rings, Turning Rings, or Prayer Rings.

The Prayer Rings are generally Tibetan Rings Engraved with a Mantra or Script and are used to Calm the Mind and Spirit.

What are Worry Rings Made of?

Most Worry Rings that you find on the market are made of Stainless Steel or Sterling Silver… Which also means they are Quite Inexpensive (Cheap)! They all tend to Work and Perform pretty well, but sometimes you will find a Ring that has an Outer Ring that’s too Loose, and it will come out of the Track and Fall apart. Not cool!

Many Worry Rings sell for under $100, but as you can see in the image below, most are around the $50-$60 range. Worry Rings comes in all different Widths, Thicknesses, Styles and Designs. And I’m sure if you want one and look hard enough, you could probably even find Solid 14k Gold Worry Rings (But these could get Very, Very Expensive).

Why Wear a Worry Ring?

People wear Worry Rings for many different reasons. A Worry Ring Helps Reduce tension in the Body. It helps Ease Anxiety and Stress. It Helps get Rid of Negative Energy that the mind conjures up when you’re feeling Uneasy, can’t Sleep, or are Troubled or concerned about certain Bad Situations in your life, whether it be your Relationship, your Finances, or your Health.

A Worry Ring Distracts the Mind just by you Spinning the Band around and Playing with it.

They really do Work!

How to use a Worry Ring?

First off, you can Buy a Worry Ring to fit any Finger. Where you wear it doesn’t matter, it still works the same.

You just use your Thumb on the Same Hand as the Ring, and Spin or Rotate the Inner Band around. This Creates a Motion that Distracts.

Many times people will get so used to Wearing one and Spinning one, that they Spin it without even Realizing they’re doing so.

It becomes Calming and Addicting!

The Inner Ring generally makes a Soft Rubbing Noise when Spun, just by the Friction of the Outer Band. This Sound can become Soothing as well.

If you get a good Worry Ring, one that’s made well and designed well, you can Spin the Inner Ring really FAST so it Rotates around quite a number of times before it finally settles down. I like to see how fast I can get it to Spin (Like Spinning the Price is Right Wheel).

It’s actually a Pretty Cool Ring to own. You’ll Play with it Constantly, even when you’re not Worried or Stressed out. It’s FUN!

What Causes Worry?

Everything!

Life is nothing but Worry! Everything Stems from Making Money, having a Good Career, getting along with your Spouse or Partner, interacting with your Family, Friends, Raising Kids… All this in a Down Economy! It’s no Wonder we Worry so much!

Life is Difficult, and often a Huge Roller Coaster Ride that just never Stops.

Everything Affects our Thoughts, our Moods, our Actions and our Life. Whether these issues are Real or Imagined, it still makes us Worry.

We get Anxious and Concerned about this or that. It makes our Heart Race, it makes us Sweat. We tend to Feel Negative and are always looking to Release some Tension or Anxiety.

That’s where a Worry Ring can greatly help. It really can start to Calm your Mind and Ease your Soul.

I’ve used one for years. I love it!

I could sit there and Spin it for Hours and never know it.

We are a worrisome bunch aren’t we?

Other Things that People do

Worry Rings are not the only Type of Gizmo that people use to Relieve Tension and Stress. Many people carry around A Lucky Coin in their Pocket. My Coin is below that my Sister sent it to me. I Rub it for Good Luck or when I’m Worried.

Worry Stone Good Luck Coin Rabbits Foot

You’ll find Worry Stones as well on the market (I have a black one that’s 1 1/2″ long shown above). These Rocks are normally Smooth and Polished with a little Indentation or Groove in the Stone just big enough for your Thumb to go in and Rub back and forth.

Some people wear a Crucifix around their Neck that they’ll Grab and Rub when they’re pondering Life and Existence.

And who hasn’t had a Rabbit’s Foot that you’ve Rubbed for Good Luck?

If you Worry a lot, like me, or are Tense, have the World on your Shoulders or are just High Strung, pick yourself up a Worry Ring and USE IT!

Spin the Inner Core…

Feel the Motion and Movement…

Listen to the Kinetic Sounds…

Ease your Mind…

Clear your Soul…

Take a Deep Breath…

Relax…

Exhale…

Smile…

Tomorrow’s a New Day!
