Great Diamond Color Articles

Good color or bad?

When it comes to diamonds, color is one of the most popular terms discussed (color and clarity are the top two).

It seems like everyone wants to know if a particular diamond color is good or bad.

Color is neither.

Color is just one of the 4 ways to identify, classify and price diamonds. The other 3 are: cut, clarity and carat weight.

Color fascinates people… that is, when they know about it. To most people diamonds all look pretty much the same color… Until you start comparing them. Putting diamonds side by side will be the true test. Some look really awesome and white, others look stained, dark, dingy and old.

Is your diamond white, off-white or yellow?

It’s a good question that may get you looking at your diamond closer.

Can you tell the difference?

I’ve written a lot of articles about color over the years, plus topics about fancy colored diamonds like the blue, brown and black diamonds. What can I say, it’s a colorful topic.

So here they are. Tons of great Jewelry-Secrets articles regarding color

Enjoy!
